Bank connection
Australia first. Provider-neutral underneath.
Basiq provides the first Australian CDR/Open Banking connector. Consent happens on Basiq’s hosted screen; Evade never receives your bank password. The internal contract can support other regional providers later.
Financial rows are private by default. Provider tokens, consent URLs, account names, merchants, and balances are excluded from operational logs. Disconnect and deletion controls remain visible.
Questions, answered plainly
Is this accounting or tax software?
No. Evade Finance is a private monitor for cash flow, planning, and the records you choose to keep. It is not bookkeeping software, tax advice, investment advice, or a trading platform.
Do I have to connect a bank?
No. Manual accounts, balances, and transactions are first-class. Australian Open Banking via Basiq is optional when configured, and consent happens on Basiq’s hosted screen.
Will unlike currencies be mixed together?
No. Money is stored with an explicit currency. Totals never silently combine AUD with USD or any other pair without a declared FX source.
What does it cost?
Finance is free during beta. Connected-bank provider costs may require a clearly stated paid option later; those terms will be published before they apply.
